Voter Engagement

Our team believes in every election voter engagement that acknowledges the continued barriers to the ballot. Our approach addresses the voter’s experience in its entirety, comprising voter education, voter turnout and voter protection.

While significant improvement in access to the ballot was achieved through the passage of Proposition 3 in 2018, significant work remains to raise awareness of voters’ rights and options to register and vote.

Our voter engagement work occurs year-round, including a focus on how our governments systems from the most local to statewide are structured to serve constituents. Ahead of each election - whether primary or general - our team ramps up to remind voters of key dates to participate whether by mail, early at a clerk’s office or on Election Day itself.

Finally, our team will build upon the lessons learned in 2020 regarding the vulnerabilities our voters face that require coordinated election protection efforts with our partners.
