Systems Change Work

Our Systems Change work focuses on critical issues from local clerk engagement to statewide reform, including ensuring fairer district maps across our state.

Our work in 2020 highlighted significant vulnerabilities to an accessible vote that requires action from our local clerks, legislative reform and a once in ten-year effort to draw lines that reflect our communities’ daily lives rather than political interests. We believe it is essential to work toward rectifying these challenges. Without affecting change on systemic barriers, our voter engagement goals cannot be achieved. We are proud to work in partnership with fellow statewide as well as grassroots organizations to ensure our work reflects a full picture of voters’ experiences.
