Suzanne Van Dam

Suzanne serves as the Major Gifts Manager at Michigan LCV. She comes to us with a background in community organizing, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising for social justice and environmental issues. She loves being able to use her talents to give back. Among other positions, she has worked as a grant writer, English professor, and a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania.

She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and currently lives in Ypsilanti with her pooch, Frieda. When she’s not at work you can find her growing great big sunflowers, making pottery, or hitting the trails.
