Abby Fischer

Abby has been with Michigan LCV since 2020 and helps move the organization forward by overseeing communications strategy and campaigns.

Growing up in a small town minutes from Lake Huron, Abby’s love for the Great Lakes began at a young age. Like many others, her love for the outdoors comes with a sense of responsibility and passion for protecting the environment. This passion led her to join Michigan LCV as a phone banking volunteer, and later as a full-time staff member.

Abby started her career at Northstar Bank where she worked in the marketing department planning community events, creating marketing campaigns, and doing design work. She is a Central Michigan University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Public Relations.

In her spare time, Abby enjoys reading, going to see the Red Wings play at Little Caesars Arena, performing in community theater productions, and spending time by the water.
